Rosehip Seed Oil

Rosehip seed oil has been used by the people of Chile for hundreds of years as a cosmetic treatment for the skin, but it has only recently gained visibility in other parts of the world. A 1983 study performed at the University of Santiago, which involved 180 participants with moderate to severe skin damage from the sun, age, radiation, or dermatitis, showed that "rosehip seed oil regenerated the skin, reduced scars and wrinkles, prevented the advancement of wrinkles and aging, and helped skin to regain its natural color and tone."
